Antonio Rugolo, Italian classical guitarist
From Southern Italy to South America
Italian guitarist Antonio Rugolo has won five first prizes in competitions in Italy and has performed throughout Europe.
In his Milford program “From Southern Italy to South America”, he will perform an eclectic selection of music from Italian/Uruguayan composer Guido Santórsola as well as Italian Opera inspired works by Giuliani, and others.

Mannes College of Music Guitar Department;
solo and ensemble classical guitar music performed by their talented students

The first college in America to offer a major in guitar (1956), and the first college to introduce a guitar Ensemble-in-Residence (1987), the guitar department of Mannes College of Music in New York City has trained internationally successful guitarists. Their Milford concert will feature solo and ensemble performances by their current students in top form right before entering the professional guitar world. This is a perfect occasion to see the talented players of the future while supporting the NEGS and MFAC in this annual fundraising event.

Ruben Parejo , Spanish classical guitarist
Music of Spain
Spanish guitarist Ruben Parajo is a winner of top prizes in six prestigious international competitions and been invited to conduct master-classes around the world. Ruben will present a program of Spanish Music featuring composers from his native Valencia and other regions of Spain, in his US debut recital at the Milford Fine Arts Council in Milford.
The program includes works by: Milan, Moreno-Torroba, Albeniz, Asencio, Rodrigo, Sans, Marco and de Falla.
