Terry Champlin, Agustín Barrios, and others.
The guitar department of Mannes College of Music in New York City has trained internationally successful guitarists. The Mannes College guitar students who will perform come from Poland, Bulgaria, Colorado, Rhode Island, and New Jersey. This is a perfect occasion to see the talented players of the future while supporting the NEGS and MFAC in this annual fundraising event.
The first college in America to offer a major in guitar (1956), and the first college to introduce a guitar Ensemble-in-Residence (1987).
